Junior Web Front End Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Improve and optimise our customer’s online shopping experience
• Design and develop components for our Content Management System (CMS)
• Work within an agile development team (internal and external) to deliver front end solutions
• Create and manage a design system that consistently provides a great experience for our customer
• Provide a high level of communication cross-functionally across the whole business
• Provide ideas and solutions to solve complex problems and see them through from ideation to implementation

What we’re looking for:

• Strong understanding and experience of JavaScript, SCSS, HTML, CSS
• Experience in working with JS frameworks: AngularJS, ReactJS, Node.js, Bootstrap
• A highly developed attention to detail and ability to take flat designs from ideation to implementation
• Experience in responsive and/or adaptive web design – any eCommerce platform is an advantage
• Experience working with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma
• Ability to work in the Atlassian suite of products – JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket and Bamboo
• A keen collaborator and a true team player with the ability to take feedback on board and deliver solutions within an agile team environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem solving, prioritisation, time management skills
