Brand and Communications Manager

  • Develop the brand strategy, guidelines and communications planning for Woolworths Metro stores
  • Deliver enhanced customer experience through a focus on the initiatives and communications that drive understanding of the role of Metro as the easiest place to pick up your next meal
  • 12 month fixed term contract

In Addition

As Brand and Communications Manager, you will develop, implement and manage the annual customer plan for Metro, focussing on the initiatives that will help drive a stronger understanding of the role of Metro. You will develop and execute local area marketing campaigns to support New & Renewal Metro store program end to end – from objective setting and briefing through strategy, creative, execution and measurement.

    • Deliver enhanced customer experience through a focus on the initiatives and communications that drive understanding of the role of Metro as the easiest place to pick up your next meal
    • Implementation of campaigns to deliver the Metro Customer Plan in collaboration and alignment with the wider Marketing community and Metro team focussing on the initiatives that will help drive a stronger understanding of the role of Metro
    • Develop a clear in-store messaging hierarchy and plan in line with Metro guidelines to optimise the customer and team experience
    • Effective management of Digital screens – optimising content creative and relevant scheduling along with managing content partner
    • Deliver marketing communications strategy for Metro and effectively communicate the implementation plans with relevant support and store teams.

Who We’re Looking For

You will understand the business and marketing objectives and be able to translate these into actions. You will be a genuine self-starter and be able to manage multiple work streams at the same time. In addition:

  • Management level experience in key aspects of the above, ideally within a large corporate marketing team or agency.
